GAY EXEC SLAIN; EX-GIULIANI AIDE (organized Hispanic support for Rudy's immigration policies)
NY POST ^ | August 24, 2006 | MURRAY WEISS and MATHEW CHARLES

Posted on 08/24/2006 1:30:44 AM PDT by Liz

....a prominent gay public-relations executive days was found dead.... strangled in his own bed. Martin Barreto, 49, a former aide to then-Mayor Rudy Giuliani, was discovered naked with KY Jelly and a condom next to his body..........worked in Giuliani's press office 1994 through 1995....helped organize Hispanic support for the mayor's immigration policies......

Barreto, a distant relative of former Nicaraguan President Violeta Barros de Chamorro, lived with a cousin in the high-security building, but was alone Saturday night when he invited a stranger up. The man stayed briefly, and two hours later another visitor arrived, staying only 10 to 15 minutes.

Officials are looking into whether his crushed larynx was the result of rough sex gone horribly wrong. Barreto had used escort services in the past, a source said.

The former journalist graduated from liberal-elite Brown University.....a close friend of jetsetter Bianca Jagger and knew John Kennedy Jr. from their days together at Brown, recalled his partner at Barreto & Brightwell Associates. He had lodged four harassment complaints against a former boyfriend, but police don't suspect that man.

You Pat Buchanan paleo-CONS should leave the GOP and find a third way.

Oh, for crying out loud. Labeling anyone to the right of Joe Leiberman a paleocon sounds as stupid as liberals who toss around the "neo-con" term without knowing what it means.

"given he called a brown person a monkey"

Really? Must have missed that. Do you have a link to a quote where he actually calls someone a monkey?

......some of the guys Rudy hangs around with can take care of his groin for him......

BTW----just a reminder----be careful using words like "behind" "member" "point of entry" "groin" "lube job" around the Rudy camp.

And never, ever say "give or get" (in the form of a question) to any of Rudy's campaign workers.

If either Giuliani or McKane gets nominated, its all over, there is no alternative there.

In many ways I blame Bush for being a luke-warm conservative who has alienated the public on the southern border issue, and turned a victory in Iran and Afghanistan into a quagmire by getting bogged down in nation building in Iraq instead of finishing the job by immediately taking out Tehran and Damascus at the same time.

He repeated his father's half-done job in the Persian Gulf war. The difference is we can't pull out from Iraq without looking like losers and losing face in a part of the world where it is fatal to do so, and by just sitting there we have allowed ourselves to be placed in a military position of defense, controlled by an opponent on the offensive without going after after him, and bringing him to battle on terms best favorable to us, not him.

Giuliani has an ego a mile wide.

He wants to be president - period.

His ONLY playing card is his performance during 9-11 which wasn't really more than PR work anyway. Nearly ANY mayor would have done as much.

McCain has been very aggressive on the war against terror, but very recently he has backpeddled with the vacillating public opinion polls. He thinks he has other pokers in the fire he can use.

Neither one of these men are men of integrity or conviction, they don't in any way refelct Republican or conservative values and if electred would probably be no worse nor any better than Hillary.

On the other hand, they would be just as ineffective as she and generate massive anti-Republican sentiments among the independents.

We would still have illegals crossing our borders.

The homosexuals would have a field day.

Our constitutional rights would be further eroded.

And we would still have problems with terrorists here and abroad.

Only someone like Gingrich, Rice, Allen or Tancredo could POSSIBLY do a decent job in Washington.

If Hillery was elected, she'd screw up SO bad, she'd be a one term President or get removed from office through impeachment - she REALLY is a crook, not just a philandering sexual predator like her husband.

You know nothing whatsoever about Rudy. I would behoove you to stop with all of that homosexual guff, which is so off the mark, that one has to wonder just what lays behind it.

"Only someone like Gingrich, Rice, Allen or Tancredo could POSSIBLY do a decent job in Washington."

Only Rice or Allen can be competitive out of that bunch, and I'm not so sure about Allen lately. I'm not convinced any of them can defeat Hillary.

At least we'll have our moral purity as terrorists kill thousands, if not millions of Americans. I'm sure the U.N. will protect us as the Democrats negotiate and have diplomacy with those who want to kill us.

It looks like America's hope depends perversely on the wacko-left fringe being more insane than the wacko-right fringe. If the leftists run Gore, Feingold, or Kerry again, we may be able to sneak Allen in there. But even Allen is too RINO for many here.

Underestimating the Clintons again is something that would be foolish to do. If we lose, we lose everything. Instead of someone like Rumsfeld at the DoD, we get Wes Clark. Instead of someone like Condaleeza Rice at the State department, we get Ambassador Holbrooke. Hell, they could even bring Janet Reno back to run Justice again!

Stand by your candidate, if you have one. But understand the consequences of losing.

I suppose you do, but it isn't more than a small part of the whole, and your rules, and Rudy's, don't apply in my part.

The man who was murdered, who worked for Rudy, when he was the mayor, was NOT an old man. He had gone to Brown with JFK Jr., so your little tidbit is not only bogus, but shows that you are talking about things you don't know anything about.

And BTW, Rudy isn't a homosexual.

Gingrich is more liberal than Rudy, has far MORE moral problems, strapped on kneepads and constantly caved to Clinton, who played him like a fiddle, and was only good, when he was a backbencher.

Tancredo is a johnny-one-note, with no charisma and even less intellect.

Allen did himself in with the stupid macaca gaff and hurt himself even more, with the myriad apologies, a la Lott.

Rice has never held an elected office, does NOT want to be president, has never been married, and more people would NOT vote for her, than would; even registered GOPers.

You may imagine that you know and understand politics, but you don't and just proved it.

Our problem is that the GOP field is very thing, right now. OTOH, just because someone's name keeps getting bantered about, now, doesn't really mean that that person will even be in the primary.
