I don't think so.

You and you ilk can't stop this movement. Clearly Rudy is the frontrunner. You can whine if he wins, though. :)

And FYI - a "Rudyphobe" would be someone like you, who is against Rudy.

"You and you ilk can't stop this movement. Clearly Rudy is the frontrunner."

You may be correct about him being the frontrunner today. But after the November elections this year, you will see an all-out attack on his stand on actual issues. The majority of Republicans do not know where he stands on anything except his leadership in NYC after 9-11.

Rudy is seriously lacking in the area of character. He is known to be a womanizer, fooling around on two wives and is now on his third. He is a moral low-life.

Do you think for a nanosecond that Rudy Giuliani is the only person who can lead? What a poor example, if that is the best we can come up with. Those issues are what is important to most people in the South and Midwest.... Southern and Midwestern conservatives will not vote for the candidates who stand against them on the issues:

Abortion
Partial Birth Abortion
Higher Taxes
Gun Control and/or Confiscation
Religious issues
Homosexual Agenda
School Vouchers
Illegal Invaders and/or Immigrants Amnesty

..... IN ADDITION to national security.

This is not a time to give the country over to the liberals. Giuliani IS A LIBERAL!

...stop this movement...

An appropriate choice of words, given the topic.

Liz seems to think that all Rudy did in his years of office was promote gay rights and go to Gay Men Chorus rehearsals. This is really strange thinking, and it perplexes me that so many Freepers agree with her.

If Rudy did anything wrong as Mayor (and he did), the worst was his rerouting traffic routes in Manhattan so that cabbies couldn't make left turns on 42nd St (!?), rerouted pedestrian traffic on 5th Avenue so that I couldn't get into Saks Fifth Avenue without getting a ticket and tried (and failed) to install taxi stations so that old ladies would have to walk ten blocks out of their way rather than hail a taxi from the comfort of their apartment sidewalks.

He better not try ANYTHING like that when he becomes president.
