Hehe, that was a genuine LOL you may have heard from my side of the screen, Lee's Ghost. I admit it, they take the cake on moral relativism.

HHHMMMMMMMM....I've read down thru some of the posts.
Congratulations Jessica.
God did plan for marriage to come before children. He also forgives sin. Christians should do likewise. BUT, Christ also pointed out when someone had sinned, He left us the ability to judge right from wrong, (not judge a sinner but the sin), so Christians too, should acknowledge sin. Calling this girl nasty names is not pointing out her sin, it is judging "her". Pointing out that what she has done is a sin according to God's law is judging the sin.

Former POW Jessica Lynch expecting baby,,,,, out of wedlock.
Which used to be a stigma, but now is accepted. And I guess most conservatives don't mind too much because at least she didn't murder it at an abortion factory.
Times sure have changed since I was a kid.
Anyway, we should pray for her and her baby and pray that the father marries her and raises the child correctly. Maybe they will teach the child not to have sex as casually as they did.

"conservatism: political philosophy or attitude that emphasizes respect for traditional institutions . . . " Which traditional institutions? Belief in Osirus the god of the underworld goes back at least 4000 years. I suppose you disdain that "tradition." So what are you, some sort of trendy liberal?
American founders established a NEW tradition of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I'm conservative to that tradition. A key word there is LIBERTY. That's a tradition I can get behind. Have fun worshipping Osirus.

If you libertarians had tried to use the banner of personal freedom to destroy family and moral discipline in the days of our founding fathers, you would have been horsewhipped or worse. Today, if you frequented a liberal website, you'd blend in perfectly. I think you guys hang around here instead because you enjoy tossing chunks of crap at the conservatives.

Hmmmmm - can't be allowed to marry a(n) hispanic in West Virginia, so friends get together and introduce ol' Wes Robinson...? Interesting
That's quite a stretch. I saw nothing in the article linked that supports such an accusation. There are other possible reasons for their engagement to have failed. He was still in the Army for some time, back in TX, then he went to college in Colorado. That's quite a distance and long time apart for a young couple. Throw in her sudden fame and fortune and there's more stress on their relationship. She could have been introduced to this Robinson fellow after her engagement was called off for all anyone knows. It should require some solid proof to accuse a family if such bigotry IMHO.

Lynch's case got a lot more publicity, though Johnson's situation was no less tense. The difference in attention given by the media, and the American public, I hate to say it, was race.
Oh come on! There were six other POWs rescued with Johnson, all white. If what you accuse were true, those white men would have gotten Lynch media while Shoshanna was ignored. As it was, Shoshanna was the second to Jessica in coverage and the male POWs all but ignored. The gender factor was far bigger than the race factor in this and Jessica's Special Forces rescue spectacular was what made her the star.

No, I think race was a factor.

The "mistake" here is not the baby. The "mistake" is the misguided notion that it is OK to bring kids into the world before you have entered the institution God created for kid-making and kid-rearing. (Or is that too judgmental for your flavor of Christianity?) Well said.
