I'm embarrassed that Linda Ronstadt is from the United States.

So is she. A week or so ago, she was on the front page of Amazon.com, quoted as saying (on that idiotic Bill Maher show), "My family didn't move to America. The border moved across us." How original, Linda. Unlike the Dixie Chicks, I actually like her voice and music, but that comment did more to drive me away than her telling me she didn't want me in her audience.
