There is a bit of the Stockholm Syndrome in play. Give him a couple of weeks of reflection. The man has been through a horrible situation.

I think they're both suffering a bit of Stockholm Syndrome, and I also think Centanni (despite the hell he must have gone through) wants access. I'd give Centanni the benefit if the doubt. He strikes me as a very driven person who wants to get he story out, and I rather doubt he really feels about Islam what he portends to feel.
