I'm not at all surprised that a dungheap like "The Nation" will still publish Corn, but why will Isikoff actually co-author a book with him? Isikoff jumped all over the same bs Corn was pushing back them
He was spitting more the Chris Matthews to pin it all on Libby and Rove
What I want to know is what are they really up to with this book

To answer your question...yes, Isikoff is a demented fraud artist.
I was glad that the panel noted Armitage's perfidy in this. Disgraceful. McCain should fire him, but of course he won't.

This only thing I can think of is trying to open up another investigation right before the election??
But what ever it is .. you can bet they are up to no good
Because they are no friend to this Administration

Because these two louts are more interested in selling books than they are in the welfare of the country.

Have Armitage or POwell even issued a statement about this? Confirming, denying, anything? And why aren't the journo's hounding them for a comment....never mind, it was a rhetorical question anyway.

From what I understand someone at State did notify Gonzales, but it was after the special investigator was appointed. When state asked if he (Gonzales) wanted to know more, he told him no.
Gonzales did exactly what he had to do.

Brit got it right tonight on the panel. In referring to Armitage he said,
"He WAS suppose to be a man of honor."

Yes, but will anyone in the MSM actually call him on it this time? Or will his "Hubris" book receive the usual glowing accolades from fellow hacks who still want to flog the Wilson-Corn-Larry Johnson talking points? OK, I know the answer to that one, too. :^)
Don't you just love these slimeballs?

Novak was on with Mr Potato Head yesterday, he did add one comment that he never said before.
Although he stood by and said he would not reveal his source, he felt it was long overdue for the source to reveal himself.

Exactly! Brit always gets it right! He is the BEST. I always actually liked Armitage, I liked his tough persona...but this story makes him a weasel in my eyes. All the heartache and reputations that have been tarnished, while Armitage sat quietly in the background. Not to mention Fitzy...it is time he got taken to the woodshed.

This case is a prime example of how liberals and leftists can be totally, utterly wrong about something - and then just walk away from it when they've been proven to be wrong. Tomorrow, they'll be outraged about something else - maybe Katrina again.
To: mware
I think Novak was saying that his source wasn't Armitage but Powell maybe???

I think Powell was involved in any case. Armitage was second man in State.

It certainly was! And Fitzy knew, KNEW all about it being Armitage, before, BEFORE, he talked with Novak, Libby, Cheney, Rove, et al.

Refresh my memory. When did Armitage leave the state dept?
