What, to get cut up in the editing room?

I think the Administration should be granting interviews like ths left and right, with two conditions for each -- that the Administration gets full access to all raw tapes, transcripts, et. al., and an on-air (or in-print, depending on the medium in question) opportunity for an unedited rebuttal after the piece airs.

Why in the world is the Leader of the Free World treating this woman as if she were actually a journalist?

This is just silly. Couric was rude to his mother and has never made her leftist sympathies a secret. So, why would W give this woman a boost on her first night?

Spoken like a true Republican--still holding on to that last beacon of hope that Dems CAN be good people--as you walk directly into the den of lions/Dem anchors & reporters thinking a story with facts can actually come forth.

"Couric: "Now that Iraq is a complete disaster, do you have any regrets?"

Couric: "Since Hizbollah's awesome victory, do you and Israel plan on attacking innocent people again?"

Couric: "Since America is obviously not safer, how do you feel?"

Couric: "House Speaker Pelosi says you ruined America. Why did you do that?"

AVACADO, YOU ARE .....WAY TOO GOOD THIS EARLY IN THE MORNING!

I cannot believe Bush's lousy choice - couldn't Snow influence him???

Fox has done him yoeman service when all other media outlets pre-election times were calling him the son of satan...

This is an uber insult and to have any kind of a conversation with that eastern pookie doll is ridiculous.

She is absolutely incredible - her diction sucks - her thoughts are evil - and she is unloved by so many.

I wonder which of her favorite word pronunciations she will use:
Go-eeen.... or Gonna ?

Bush has lost his mind.

"As much as I can't stand the Perky One, this is a good opportunity for W"

Sorry, I totally disagree. By the time they get through editing it Bush will look like a complete loser. And it gives her a big ratings bounce and credibility she's never had.

Hope I'm wrong, but wouldn't bet on it.

I think this will just be another opportunity for an avowed leftist (Perky Katie) to trash Bush on national TV. I already don't watch SeeBS, I won't watch this and I hope after the the hype, Perky Katie lasts long enough at SeeBS to have to say that the Republicans retain control of the House and Senate in the fall.

Her personal hygiene is her own business.

I'd rather think about hers than Barbara Walter's.

So would Bahbawa.

As much as I love Bush, I refuse to watch, listen to, or read about Katy Couric

I agree... it is all hype for first night ratings. I refuse to add to her ratings in any way. I love W as much as anyone,(maybe more than most), but I will not watch her grill him on national t.v. I can not stand the perky one.

What is Tony Snow smoking these days?

This is a real dumb move.

I detest her too but I intend to watch her for a few days at least. I want to see her hairstyles, her clothes, her makeup. After all, that's all there is there, image and agenda. We already know about her agenda.

I agree, stupid move, ignoring CBS gives this administration more credibility than pandering to it ever would. W is going to be made the fool by their editing staff. Katie will hack him to pieces with DNC lies. There will be as much chance for airing a Bush rebuttal and having Americans view it, as there would be for the msm giving Bush a positive glowing piece every night on the news. That chance is zero. It just doesn't happen, the media is the enemy of the republican party and classic American values. This is going to be a slaughter. The handlers here are stuck on stupid if they think the msm will help them at all.

Wonder if she will park her "serious glasses" out on the edge of her noise for that show?
