Excerpts from the interview will air on Couric's first evening newscast Which just furthers the idea that the evening news is just advertisement.

Will the Perky One try and show that she is non-biased or will she have to prove to the world that she is a "hard-hitting reporter always ready to ask the tough questions" by being rude to Bush? Place your bets. Ante up everyone.

As much as I love Bush, I refuse to watch, listen to, or read about Katy Couric!

As much as I can't stand the Perky One, this is a good opportunity for W What, to get cut up in the editing room?
To: Uncledave
...this is a good opportunity for W Yes, ... to stand up, lean across and slap Kewpie for her supporting appeasement.

Nice move by Bush. Sort of a "Bring it on" gesture to the perky gnomette.

I don't care who she is interviewing. I wouldn't watch Katie Couric on TV no matter who she is interviewing.

Another foolish media move by the President. When will he learn? The MSM is his enemy, and ours! There can be no good to come of this. Better for him to give an exclusive interview to a blogger, or to FNC.

To: Uncledave
Nope!
It's a good opportunity for Couric to pose a bunch of accusatory questions.
Bush will repeat his mistake of playing nice instead of contradicting her assertions.

What is the masochistic streak in the Bush Administration that allows the President to be interviewed by his enemies? Clinton would never have consented to an hour interview on the Rush Limbaugh, Gordon Liddy, or Michael Reagan talk shows. Rather than being the evil genius the liberals believe him to be, Karl Rove appears to be hopelessly stuck in the 1970s, when the old Big Three networks, the big liberal newspapers like
The Washington Post, and the weekly news magazines had a near monopoly on public information.
Hopefully, the next Republican President will ignore the "drive by media" as surely as he would avoid the supermarket tabloids.
To: Uncledave
CBS will edit to their heart's content and make him look like a bufoon. Bush is crazy to sit with this biased lib. The GOP will never learn.
