According to parents, students will be given two weeks to start addressing the teacher as "she." After that, it could be considered harassment if the teacher is referred to as "he."
This is what troubled me the most about this situation in Batavia, the potential for the kids to be prosecuted for harrassment.

Yeah, very disturbing. This guy goes out and pays good money to mutilate his own body and it still takes jackbooted thugs to stomp on children to get any respect.
Bet he/she's gonna' feel as frustrated as ever.

Just what "right" do teachers have to project their psychopathology on to OUR children and then threaten us when we refuse to participate in it.....

so instead of making a huge ordea out of this, why didn't it just change its name and transfer to a different school?
would've made everything a whole lot easier.. at least on the kids.

ToT: This one is a definite for your list!
For the others: this one seems to cover a whole variety of bases. Should the HA list be included on this one? I don't recall who's managing that one.

So I take it the involuntary neck shudder and gagging noises, when the thing with whiskers and mascara walks by, will be disallowed too?

IMO, he could have done this change over the summer, saved the taxpayers money for time off, and come back to school with a different name, look, and identity. He could pass as a completely different person, a woman. But then, of course, he wouldn't get to shove his agenda down the children's throat.

Which part of the word "Disorder" do they not understand???
If I thought I was a parakeet, would that mean I was a parakeet?
This guy is NOT a woman. The Dr. that did his sex change operation should lose his medical license for malpractice.
The psychiatrist that allowed this should lose his license.
This is craziness.

Where are the real adults in NY to let this kind of PC crap creep into law?

"I was excited when I found out I was having HIM, she said. "Whatever HE wants to do, we all feel it's fine. It's up to HIM." Another student, Erika Bucci, said, "I heard HE was a good teacher, what HE changes about HIMSELF doesn't matter."
I hope they don't say that in two weeks, they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Isn't it funny that for just about all other disorders, the goal is to give treatment to cure or eliminate the disorder or diminish the symptoms.
In this case, the treatment is to let him to wear a dress and have everybody call him a she. If this guy was a pyro, would they treat him by giving him a lighter and can of gasoline ? I have to think if this wasn't a sex issue, then the PC shrinks treating this clown would certainly try a little harder to cure him as as opposed to throwing in the towel or should I say, the dress !
WTF is this world coming to ?

So now, the mentally deranged are being hired to teach children. Is this called progress in education?

"More than 100 parents met with school leaders and heard from legal and medical experts to talk about the transition when a male teacher at the high school returns to school next week as a woman. "
It's amazing that these sex deviates aren't teaching biology! When they can't even identify their own sex organs, or have a sex deviate mentality, there's NO WAY they are qualified to "teach".
