Nat Hentoff is a thoughtful man of the Left who writes honestly, agree with him or not. Hentoff never did put up with Schiavo's and Felos's lies, and he defied his own media world to tell Terri's story, with force and righteous anger, in the Village Voice. (He took a lot of heat for it from his leftist readers, but it never turned him away from the truth.) Well done, Nat Hentoff.

I have loads of respect for Hentoff, even though I disagree with him often. He's morally consistent and always makes his case with clarity and reason. It's confounding when you disagree with someone that intelligent and honest. Of course, he's right on the money with this issue.
