I hear Katherine called the Maytag repairman on advice for being more popular.

Did you have anything intelligent to add to this thread? Perhaps you saw the Hardball interview yesterday. That is the topic of this thread.

With Nora, I could put up with a little bitchiness and maybe even some liberal tilt but when I heard a few too many second-hand stories about her and her sous chef-husband running around D.C. moving to the front of lines with the "Don't you know who I am?!" rant, well, it was over for me.

Mmmm, because she is not an incumbent, not the nominee why is the National party supposed to support one candidate over the other? Floridians can't make up their minds without outside input?

Besides if it did then we would hear all the tired, familiar charges that she was being "annointed", "imposed", "shoved down our throats" etc. Oh, wait those usually making such charges are the ones who want Katherine to win

What raft would that be? This time next week, she'll be the GOP nominee. At that point, your negativity will no longer be pointless. It will amount to supporting a liberal Democrat. This won't be the right place to do that, so tell me... should I wish to avail myself of more of your wisdom, where should I look for it? Lost Kos? DU? MyDD? And what screen name do you use there?

Cool. [Pulls out fresh box of popcorn]

Nah, I don't visit those sites, much less have an account there (and BTW, if some day I do decide to give 'em hell, it'll be as "dayglored" just like here -- I have no reason to wear two different faces).

Even if I had significant common cause with those idiots, I wouldn't bother -- they not only don't have their heads screwed on straight, they also don't know how to run a site. I find them boring beyond belief, for the most part.

I don't believe she's stupid.

What's frightening is not her beliefs (it's a free country), nor her speaking her mind (again, it's a free country), but the fact that she thinks people should put her in office on the basis of these statements. They're clearly at odds with any reasonable reading of the Founders' intent.
<<

You read too much into her statements - -

On HARDBALL with Nora O'Donnel, she claimed that we should vote for Christian Candidate, those who are honest about their faith - - and she encourages people of all faiths to run for office !

Your fellow Harris supporters have already shown up and will be quickly be accusing supporters of other Republicans of being for Nelson and spouting delusions that GOP leaders sabotaged Harris campaign and that Gore would be President without Kathy.

Floridians, why is she such a pariah in Florida, and why doesn't the national Republican party support her?

Because the RINOs and the Dim plants in the party are still furious she followed the law in 2k and made fools out of the Dims. They are still powerful enough to run a successful smear campaign and trip her up as they have. If she wins the primary, it will be a major slap in the face to the treason party and shake up the rinos in the repugnant party that didn't give her the support they should have.
