Might as well drink wine. The real character of beer is lost when you flavor it with fruit. Lambics are more like wine coolers than beer IMO.

No, I've had some really good Belgian beer and some really bad Belgian beer. My favorite so far is St. Feuellian (sp). The kriek (cherry) isn't too bad either if you like flavored beers.
