I still think she declares herself running for President by next April.....if she can wait that long.

Are you planning to continue posting this propaganda Wednesday September 6?

---"Are you planning to continue posting this propaganda Wednesday September 6?"---

Come Wednesday September 6th, I will be pulling for - and praying for - whoever wins the primary, period. Nelson is so out there left that ANY of the GOP candidates would be a marked improvement over him - even a RINO. Yup, he really is THAT bad.

But I do not rule out her running for President in 2008. I do not say that as facetiousness; I say that in all seriousness. She has insatiable ambition, which isn't in-and-of itself always a bad thing; but she lacks the tact and wisdom to channel it correctly. She also lacks patience.

Look, you don't know me from a hill of beans, and I know you don't think much of any of the staff who once put their heart and soul into the Harris campaign but are no more on board with her. But there is more than just speculation behind what I say when I talk about 2008. There was a lot more than mere whispers about such a run; there was a lot of quiet murmuring that winning a Senate seat in Florida would prove her electability for national-type offices.

As I said, you don't know me from a hill of beans. So take it with a grain of salt. But let me tell you there are at least a few people out there who worked their BUTTS off for her only to take the fall for her basic campaign mistakes. And there is more than just one person out there who saw how little control she had over her ambitions.

No, NautiNurse, I truly believe Katherine Harris has an eye for the Presidential office. That's no joke, and no smear. Do me a favor at the next rally. Ask her if she's ever considered running for President "someday." See if you can get her to say "no."

That being said, and my hopes for a McBride upset, it looks like she'll be the candidate for Florida. So I'll learn to deal with it. She'll get the vote of everyone I know in Florida, just as any GOP candidate would against Nelson.

But it's your turn to answer my theoretical: If Katherine Harris loses by the 30% or more than it looks like she's going to lose by, will you promise to:

A.) Finally accept that it wasn't a grand conspiracy of lies exaggerating her lack of support.

B.) Admit that she is no longer a viable statewide or national candidate.

C.) Renounce any future David-and-Goliath candidates. By this I mean in cases like this one, where backing a different primary candidate would have been the better part of valor. Not to renounce backing a Republican vs. a Democrat in an established race whatever the chances - just to renounce cases like this one.

Because as much as you don't want to believe it now, she does have higher office ambitions beyond the Senate, she IS going to get decimated against Nelson, and it WOULD have been possible to perhaps win this seat with another candidate.

And that has nothing to do with what I want or don't want, or what you believe is propoganda or is not propoganda. But time will play that one out......
