My wife often kids me that I believe everything I see on the internet. I told her Jerry wouldn't be on. She said, "Where'd you see that? The
Internet?" I say, "Yeah, but it's gotta be true."
Now I look like a schmuck.

I love Jerry Lewis and he is not at all PC. I would love for him to annouce Hillary as a "big mouthed broad".

Thanks -- I see him, too.
AM: Can you change the headline to something that says he seems to be OK?
No matter what you think of his movies, the MDA work he does is great.

Please, Celine Dion has to be one of the most annoying human beings I have ever seen in my life. If she were any more plastic, any more full of it, she`d be John Kerry. She`s the French version of Barbara Striesand, and when you add France plus Barbara Striesand you get hell on earth. You've said exactly nothing about her singing. Some savvy judge of talent you are.

Apparently Jerry Lewis didn't get the memo. :-) God bless him. He sounds winded, but he looks good compared to previous years. He's quite a trooper!

The French idolize Lewis in the same way a KKK member would enjoy Steppin Fetchit as his favorite actor.

"The Nutty Professor" is great, and "The Bellboy" and "Who's Minding the Store" also have some great silent movie-style gags. I was thinking more along the lines of "Which Way to the Front" up through "Hardly Working."

I really like the Colgate Comedy Hour stuff, although I do think their earliest appearances are better than the later ones. I think toward the end, some of the pressures and resentments were starting to show through onscreen. But the very earliest shows (the ones that one critic referred to as "Jerry Lewis in his 'Elvis at Sun Records' phase") are hilarious. Look for the bit Jerry does with the claw machine. Made my sides hurt.

Robert DeNiro was Great in King Of Comedy. Jerry actually played the straight man to DeNiro in that one.
