[My Favorite Headache]

Very sad....Jerry has been there every year for 41 years ...his health must be really poor all of a sudden for him to miss this. Having been out in the street performing the other day leads me to believe something is really bad with him.

I have supported MDA since age 4 when I would walk neighborhoods collecting for the charity and well...Labor Day wouldn't be Labor Day without Jerry Lewis on TV.

I'm sorry to hear this, and offer my prayers as well. Labor Day is all about the MDA Telethon. I'll of course watch much of the telethon and make our annual contribution, but it won't be the same without Jerry.

I always liked Lewis and could never understand all the bashing he gets. I would suspect it`s because of his loud manner, but that never bothered me. What bothers me was the idolization of him by France which to me was such an insult. If dogshiet idolizes someone you admire, how can you not be insulted?

Where did you see/hear this? Just yesterday there was an interview saying that his health was better. Guess he had a setback. We'll miss him this year.

One of my favorite moments was when he and Dean hadn't spoken in years. On the MDA telethon, Dean walks on stage to a huge round of gasps, then applause.

With out missing a beat, Jerry says to Dean (raised eyebrow), "So? You never write any more?!"

I saw one of those 'entertainment' news shows last night while channel surfing. They had a promo interview with Jerry Lewis about this weekend's telethon. He recently had a heart attack and had an angioplasty. He looked fine, but was using a motorized wheelchair to get around.
