Jason, your father wants to turn the basement into a rec room. Could you please gather up all your vast colection of Playgirl magazines and your collection of "water pipes" and move out? Thanks!

Maybe there will be a Rove indictment this Saturday?

Within 24 business hours.

... admitting that the infamous "16 words" in President Bush's January 2003 State of the Union address pertaining to Niger and uranium should not have been in the speech.

The WH had second thoughts (or regrets if you must) about speaking of their direct connection to Brit intel BYPASSING THE CIA in the SOTU address. That connection goes back to FDR because there have always been security and political problems with the CIA. That Bush mentioned that he had obtained intel from the Brits directly pissed some within the CIA. Bush's mistake, imho, was to admit to second thoughts whether the "16 words" pissed off the CIA or embarassed the Brits. In any case the Brits were right. It was not a "mea culpa".

Not to mention the fact, that based on information that TIme and Matt Cooper had to turn over to the court in discovery, the judge has stated that Cooper's testimony is impeachable. In deed, he indicated Miller's testimony is impeachable as well.

This bears repeating, and is at the heart of Libby's coming exoneration.

Thank you for this funny post. This writer certainly is a caricature of the leftwing nuts that were salivating over the prospect of a Rove indictment. Not only did they predict with certainty that Rove would be indicated, they reported that he had secretly been indicated according to their unimpeachable sources.

When Rove was exonerated they refused to stand down and on the contrary said they stood by their story ...Rove Was Indicted !! they confirmed however they could not be certain why it was being kept a secret. Perhaps, they claimed, the Special Prosecutor was giving Rove time to get his affairs in order.
Of course its delusional on their part. But these nuts aren't chasten one little bit. They are sticking to their story no matter what the facts sorta like Dan Rather.

All Fitzmas had to do was ask the CIA if Valerie Plame was a covert operator within the last 5 years. If he had done so the case would have been over before it started.

I think Bush ought to wait until after the 2008 election and then appoint a very vindictive federal special prosecutor to nail Fizmas's rump to the wall.
