Hmmmm... 5,500 KG.

Iraq would have to have reported importing that much Phosphorus Pentasulfide. This would be reported to the people handling the oil-for-food program. I wonder if they have a record of 5,500 KGs or more of Phosphorus Pentasulfide?

And we all know how "legit" the oil-for-food program was run!

I also thought about the "5,500 Kg". In the Arabic language the comma in a number plays the role of a decimal point but usually if they mean five and half Kilogram they write as 5,5 Kg (5.5 Kg for us) and not 5,500 Kg as written in this document. I think here the 5,500 Kg means five thousands and five hundred Kilograms which is a huge quantity of Phosphorus Pentasulfide and I doubt very much they were allowed to import such large quantity. Saddam regime claimed that they have destroyed 157 tons of this material after Desert Storm as shown in Dr. Bilal report to the Iraq Survey Group.
