Oh, I definitely remember when it was considered mandatory - by the networks themselves, if not the government. All three stations. :)

I think the Slimes has it...that is why Bush is out speaking now. He's beating them to the punch. And if/when the leftists publish, they'll look all the more treasonous.

Sad that he has to explain that he can't divulge the methods of getting information.

The American people have been brainwashed beyond measure....

The operatives were detained based on info he gave us.

We knew Zabata had more info which could save innocent lives but he stopped talking again. As his questioning proceeded, it became clear he had received training on how to resist questioning.g

So the CIA used different tactics and they were used in relation to our laws, Justice reviewed the procedures extensively and determined they were lawful.

I can't tell you waht it entailed because it would help the terrorists but the procedures were tough but safe and lawful and necessary.

Zabata was questioned using thse procedures and thne with info he gave we found more operatives from 9/11.

One was an accomplish in 9/11 named Ramzi Ben Alshiebi.

We then captured Alshiebi and he gave info to letting us capture Mohammed.

So the headline is reading he is transferring CIA prisoners to Gitmo, but he is saying that not all will be transferred and we will continue to have "secret" prisons?

Am I understanding it right?

KSM told us about another operative in custody. K SM told us Kahn had been told to deliver $50,000 for someone named ?.

The CIA officers confronted Khan with this information. (I can't keep up)

It also sounds like Zebata (SP) is now a dead man.

Zabata was severely wounded in firefight and he survived only because of medical care arranged by CIA.

You're doing a fantastic job, Peach. One point for clarity, though. This terrorist is Abu Zubaydah.

You may be right. We have got to send a message to the press that there are things they might publish that would be considered treasonous, if not by the courts, then by the court of public opinion. If the Times, or any other press outlet, has this info, I hope he tells us right now and puts them on notice.

That's exactly what I was thinking, Recovering.

More info led to a cell of 17.

They were already doing that during the Clinton administration. That's when I got into the habit of going to cable news or CSPAN for coverage. If you don't remember that the networks decided on a case by case basis whether or not to cover his speeches, you are remembering very selectively.
