I was hoping the traitors would go on the record for firing the SecDef during wartime.
They are idiots and have no unified message/opinion on any agenda.

It already did the job, had their propaganda arms all "reporting" this on the morning news.

They have already won this argument.

...and Democrats conceded there's not likely to be any vote whatsoever.

No guts, no glory...

Ok, let's have a vote on whether Barbara Boxer should stay on the job.

I vote "no."

"...the way President Bush and Rumsfeld have handled the war, which is increasingly unpopular with the public."

I think this is trying to make it look like the public is losing confidence in the way Bush and Rumsfeld are conducting the war. I don't believe any war is ever increasingly popular. Some of the frustration I feel is that we need to issue an ultimatum: If they aren't ready to be inspected in such-and-such time (and we're running out of it) they will be destroyed. No dropping of brocures. No targeting empty buildings.

Cool. Maybe Bush can write a non-binding Executive Order declaring that all Moonbats in Congress must resign...

Some Republicans, such as John McCain, R-Ariz., have been sharply critical of Rumsfeld. And GOP candidates Tom Kean of New Jersey and Stephen Laffey of Rhode Island, who is giving Sen. Lincoln Chafee a very difficult race for renomination, have called for Rumsfeld's resignation.

Interesting comment...I do not see the name of any influential Republicans on that list.

You folks and the Republicans just don't get it. The current Democrat Party is made up of traitors to these United States. Do you see how they are moaning and groaning about the upcoming ABC miniseries on 911. The truth hurts and always opts. Bill Clinton, his administration and the entire Democrat Party were directly responsible for enabling 911 to occur. That's a fact, no matter how the Democrat party and their lap dogs in the MSM spin it. Pubbies should be shouting it from the roof tops. If we would only unite together and get out the entire base for the Pubbies , we can help destroy the "Treason" Democrat party once and for all!!!

I read on NRO that Tony Blair may be facing a similar vote in Parliament, with the resignation of more than a few of the members of his party.

If the Democrats take over either the House or the Senate, these kinds of resolutions will become daily events.

How anyone can read this and continue to cling to the notion that there is no difference between the two political parties is beyond belief.
