Yes it does. These children will help some people remember who seem to have forgotten about 9/11.
Ping
May need to record this.
It looks like ABC will win the sway the election with two different shows. This won't sit well with the DEMS. They are already screaming about the other show.
An irony is that she had some precious memorabilia in her office because, since her house on Long Island was empty all day, she was afraid it could get burgled, and the office seemed a safer place.
I don't think WT #7 was all that tall a building, and at least Rosie is smart enough not to wear high heels ...
THIS is why we fight. THIS is what an evil enemy did to us.
And they will do it again and again and again if we don't wage war against them as we are doing now.
God bless these families and grant them peace. I can't imagine their pain.
BUMP!!
This stuff just rips my heart out...
That's why every American should see it...........and REMEMBER.
Thanks for the ping!
A friend's brother in law died on 9/11 in the Towers.
He and her sister have been trying for 2 years and that morning she found out she was pregnant.
He was on a floor where he probably died instantly.
10 minutes before the plane hit she had called her husband and told him the news so at least he knew.
My friend was with her sister in the delivery room as her coach and her sister has not remarried. Their 2 brothers are standing in the Dad's role pretty much but he can never be really replaced.
Please tell me how.
Did you see my response to you?
I hadn't, but I just did.
This was a unique event. Mass murder, very public, and the victims were mentally tortured by the terrorists before they were killed. Some of the dead died trying to save others, and that I would think brings an extra, special kind of pang, and must be hard to endure. The families never got to say goodbye, and have had to deal with the endless politics that surrounded and still surround 9-11. Very tough to cope with I would think.
First of all, if we take your "hermenitical seal" approach to "religion" seriously, then this "secular" news article shouldn't have even broached the subject of prayer. I suppose you would chastise the journalist and editor for even allowing such a "religious slip" to break through your secular barrier.
While yes, the purpose of driving on any road may have a totally secular purpose of getting from point A to point B (like your morning commute), that doesn't mean that you have a right or obligation to cover up every "religious" billboard or "religious" bumper sticker you see along the way just because you don't believe the highway is the appropriate place for "religion."
While you might tell the billboard sponsors to "go to their church buildings to practice religion," the fact is that by you discussing religion in this thread you've already violated your own belief.
If "religious discussion" doesn't belong on this thread, then why have you discussed religion here? By your own standards, you should have remained quiet on this issue.
So, as long as the Web constitutes an info highway, then you're just going to have to put up with "bumper sticker" and billboard-type postings that fail to match your privately determined cookie-cutter definition of "religion."
Having someone pray for me is distinct from me praying to that person.
***Pray tell, first of all how is this different from a seance conjuring up spirits for "guidance" reasons?***
Have you never heard of the Communion of Saints? It has nothing to do with seances.
Never forget.
