It really PMO's that I have to "Press One for English" on voice mail or ATM's. Why do I have to press numbers for my own language in my own country?

Why don't THEY have to press about 1,348,957 for Spanish?

That's one of my pet peeves too.

I remember the days (40 years ago) when "separate but equal" was frowned upon. Now the unwillingness of a significant number of Hispanics not wanting to assimilate has institutionalized "separate but equal" and we're suppose to bend over backwards to make things easy for them.
