Gates is doing similar things with his fortune.

A little study of the history of filthy rich familys shows that inherited great wealth is not the boon that most working people would assume it is.

Very wealthy familys are always disfunctional as are their members.

Does anybody envy Paris Hilton's life? Why can't she see that? Do you think the life of the Gettys (for example) was/is a bed of roses?

Right ~ disfunctional. The relatives of Jacob Schmiddlapp (who held 100% ownership of Fifth-Third Bank before he died) were left penniless in the Depression. Many of them actually died of illnesses that were readily cured if they could have afforded carfare to a hospital.

The rich people are the ones who are disfunctional ~ Warren Buffet is just another example, and just as nasty. WOnder if he married his niece.

Well, it certainly doesn't require being "filthy rich" to have enough money to make life a whole lot easier and less stressful. Buffett could easily have given his children enough to buy a home or start a business, without turning them into the Hilton sisters.

And you know, plenty of penniless bums waste their money, too.
