NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Former president Bill Clinton will take delivery of a specially outfitted "Presidential Edition" Mercury Mariner Hybrid SUV later this month.

The vehicle's customized interior includes unique LED lighting and a 110-volt outlet. The Mariner's rear bench seats were replaced by a pair of bucket seats and a center console that houses a fold-out writing desk. There are also writing desks that fold down from the backs of the front seats.

It also has individual DVD players for each back and a small refrigerator, said Kim Irwin, brand manager for Ford's Mercury division. The SUV's front seats were modified to create more rear seat legroom, she said.

The Mariner's rear bench seats were replaced by a pair of bucket seats

Hillary must have asked for this change. It will make XXX-42's "Back seat interviews" slightly more difficult and uncomfortable.

"The vehicle was donated by Ford Motor Co. to the Department of Homeland Security."

The Clowntoons pay for nothing.

We drive Ford Escape Hybrids at work, which is the Ford variant of the Mercury Mariner Hybrid. We average 19.5 MPG in mixed city and highway driving. I am sure the "Presidential Edition", with the electric refrigerator, 110V outlet and fancy electronic gizmos gets much less than that.

But look for Bubba to throw his shoulder out of joint patting himself on the back for driving around in a vehicle that gets about the same milage as a Ford Expedition.

Wasn't the Mercury Mariner designed for Ted Kennedy?

The Clowntoons pay for nothing.

Better Ford pay for his new SUV than the American Tax Payer.
