He knows voting for this bill would lose Republican votes which is exactly why he wants the Repubs to vote for this Amnesty plan. If he thinks that we're gonna fall for his incredibly clumsy lie ("Hey, Republicans, better vote for my amnesty bill or you'll lose congress to us Democrats!"), then he's REALLY stupid and off his rocker.

That's not aimed at Republican voters, but Republican politicians. Some may very well be stupid enough and a few are actually on HIS side.
