The first video below puts to rest the conspiracist theorists(moonbat left(cindy sheehan) and right(alex jones)) contention that there were "bombs" in the buildings. It is clear and plain that the South Tower collapsed under the stress of a massive fire due to thousands of gallons of jet fuel starting a massive fire storm on the upper floors of the WTC.

Some of the comments at these Youtube 9/11 video clips are absolutely astounding. We live in a world (and a country) where it is becoming increasingly clear that there are those who are simply blind. No problem, but the pictures say a thousand words. One can see from the videos the South Tower collapsing under the weight of thousands of gallons of jet fuel bascially melting the steel holding up the building.

The film is obviously photoshopped. The fire up around the 100th floor is an illusion as the building was brought down by charges on the ground floor.

All dressed up and nowhere to go. I was going to post a long rant debunking controlled demolition as a reason why the World Trade Center collapsed – but somebody has nicely put it all in a single document.

I will post a few choice bits I found that tackle the notion advanced by conspiracy theorists, namely:

Loizeaux goes on to say that the biggest commercially available charges can cut through steel that is three inches thick. The box columns at the base of the WTC towers were fourteen inches on a side. If big enough charges did exist, Loizeaux says, for each tower it could hypothetically take as long as two months for a team of up to 75 men with unfettered access to three floors to strip the fireproofing off the columns and then place and wire the charges.

The greatest fraud perpetrated on the American people is not the uncertainty about how/why we went into Iraq, it was the removal of the images of 9/11 from the eyes of the American people. These images (each one, each second worth a thousand words) speak so blatantly, so graphically, so completely about what it is that now DOMINATES THE WORLD SCENE, but what so many are either uncertain about/ignorant of/opposed to. The removal of these images have severed people from the reality our world is now in. The faded memories stay with some, become distant and detached for others (these folks may well have a character issue to deal with--think about it--what is life-altering for one person on a national level is overblown to someone else).

These images were removed for reasons I will never understand, but what my mind tells me was the result of some liberal mindset: too painful, too emotional, too potentially threatening to the multi-cultural philosophy which feared repurcussions against Islamists and, thus, a threat to one of the Left's core beliefs-- West/America/Judeo-Christian: bad, rest of world: good.

At the time, I didn't know that. But my answer was really more general. I meant "I'll continue to watch vids like this".
I have the National Geographic special "Inside 9/11 - Zero Hour" aired August 28th recorded on DVR. Lots of details and footage in that show along with eye witness accounts of the poor souls who jumped/fell from the towers which the MSM often likes to leave out.

As to your point, while there are plenty of images available on the internet, and the internet is something more and more are using to find out all that is being filtered out by the MSM, realize that far, far too many receive their info via that very MSM that is filtering out these images. If you recall, about 2-3 weeks after 9/11 (it may have been a bit longer, I can't recall), the images of planes flying into buildings were nowhere to be found on any of the television stations (including cable). Soon, the dialogue began to include questions about what America may have done to provoke such an attack.

Here is another YouTube video, which puports to capture audio from a phone conversation between an emergency dispatcher and a victim trapped on the 105th floor. Cannot confirm legitimacy, but it does not sound like a fake. If real, this is about the most sad and enraging thing I've heard in all of the things I've seen and heard about 9/11/01.

US. and Canada discuss emergency scenarios

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CPB) announced recently that business resumption plans have been updated to reflect analysis of a joint U.S.-Canada-trade exercise conducted in Detroit. CBP, along with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and local law enforcement representatives met with trade leaders in the summer of 2006 to discuss potential steps the governments and the private sectors would take to keep trade moving in the event of a disaster or emergency situation.

The exercise brought together approximately 70 individuals from CBP, CBSA, local law enforcement, emergency responders and trade representatives to discuss hypothetical emergency scenarios and coordination, and walk through steps that each might take to ensure business resumption and trade facilitation.

“Making sure that we have protocols in place with our U.S. partners and the private sector in the event of a significant incident is mutually beneficial to our two countries,” said Canada Border Services Agency President Alain Jolicoeur. “With about $1.9 billion in cross-border trade each day, business resumption plans will help increase the safety and efficiency of our border and ensure the free flow of legitimate travelers and commerce across our shared border.”

Discussion topics at the exercise included:

logistics,
operational decisions and impacts,
communications between and among agencies as well as with the media, and
potential timeframes for reconstituting trade in the event of an incident.

In the days following 9/11, border operations on the northern and southern borders were severely impacted. The recent exercise represents tangible progress in risk-assessment and preventing such an extreme impact. It is also a key component of the Security and Prosperity Partnership, a tri-lateral agreement between the U.S., Canada, and Mexico signed in 2005 to help develop a common approach to protecting North America from external threats while simultaneously facilitating the movement of legitimate trade and people across our borders.
