Yep, they are more worried about cluster bombs used against the enemy than car bombs used on our troops or flying Claymores used against Israeli citizens.

The human death toll and injury from these weapons are felt every day. What's she referring to? Cluster bombs or passenger jets?

what about the over 2500 rockets blindly shot into israel? What about the ones ferrying shrapnel? Who and what were they intended for? I know, I know, they were for peaceful purposes.

The sheer numbers of CBU;s in the article (2,000,000) is a good indication of how much our military depends and uses them.
The Dems are trying their damndest to emasculate our military.
So, what is different?

The amendment was voted down on September 6 by a 70-30 margin. What a waste of time by the moonbat senators.

These military experts are right. We should just stick with napalm, WP, and flamethrowers.

Another set of handcuffs for our military. With "Senators" like these two buffoons, who needs Islamofascists?

Still, there were 30 imbeciles and defeatists willing to vote for it, almost 1/3 of the US Senate.
What a pack of mindless gasbags.

If cluster bombs are really that "ineffectual" why does our military use them?
I don't buy the failure rate is that high.

The bill should be named the terrorist protection act of 2006.

Also, IMHO, any such law is clearly unconstitutional.
The Congress cannot use the power of the purse to give specific commands such as ROE's to the troops: this usurps the President's powers as CINC.
