How far things have come in 5 years. The Taliban is trying to disrupt, but the people of afghanistan are moving on.

Symbol of the moral decadence of the West! The mullahs will rant, "Mohammad never drank coke!" Or used AK 47s or anti-tank missles, they might add.

Coca-Cola cannot be tolerated under Sharia law. When pouring the carbonated beverage, occasionally a "head" will form that bears a distant resemblance to the Arab symbol for "Allah." That is blasphemy. Someone must be beheaded and the factory bombed.

good to see positive things happening there; some of the stuff you read here does have the effect of making me wonder whether its worth it.

Given Afghanistan's current cash crop, maybe they'll expand their lineup and allow Coke to return to its original formula?
