You're welcome, Dinah. :)
Sad, sad;tragic;shocking day never to be fogotten!
Nicely done Tribute/pictorial.
I would save it to my links but
the entire Dose &
Finest Threads are already listed
in entirety in their pepetual form.
((((Thank you for this.))))
Ugh! I'd rather not. ;-)
They had to be invited to the service that day, but ugh! The less we all see of them, the better.
If you get a moment, let me know whose voice you think is singing. :)
Such an honor for you to get the Toaster on this 9.11/01Tribute/Rememberance entry.
You're welcome. I agree with you...sadly far too many people have forgotten what that day was like. Heck, even on that day, more people than we'd care to know didn't give a dang about what happened. My cubicle mate at work at the time was one such jerk.
Hi Maj. You're so very welcome, as always, my friend.
Thank you so much, Wolfstar, for this thread and the pictures.
My husband and I had to call our daughter at college and ask her to view this. Our hearts haven't stopped aching.
Beautiful Job.
Indeed

Thanks. :)
Me, too. When I was little, I use to get a quilt and wrap up in it and sit on the porch and read. Nothing better than rain on a tin roof, either.
The President greeting firefighters from the Ladder Co. 10, Engine Co. 10 station house in New York City.
The pictures have me in tears.
How grateful I am that President Bush has been our leader during these five years!
Words fail.
Thank GOD for President Bush!!!
((((Thank you my friend for your comment.))))
I'm Save As ing most every pic today...
I love the poem at this site

I printed out the original one with all of the wonderful color pictures.
Compared to virtually all of his predecessors (in my lifetime, at least) I think he shows the stresses and strains of the office less than most have though his burdens have been much greater.
Spot on poem! Thank you for writing & posting it!
