What do you actually do on a cruise?

eat,, shop,, drink,, sleep,, eat some more,, drink some more,, maybe hit a port or 2 or 4 or 5 , where you eat, drink, shop,, tour,, repeat in each port..

It's not for everyone.. Wifey is working on her 50th soon,, I'm close to 20 myself..

Outside cabin with a balcony is the way to go if ya can get it..

Depending on the ship and port, I would add shows, lectures, games, diving, horse back riding, the usual shore excursions, sub wall dives, etc. etc. There are many many activities.

Bingo. It's well worth the premium. We usually get upgrades because we take so many.

My husband and I just got back from our first cruise -- to Alaska -- and had an outside cabin with a balcony. It was great to sit out there and watch the scenery go by! We really enjoyed it. I don't see how anyone can fall overboard -- those railings are high.
