I didn't hear anything about Spike Lee's left wing roots when he came out with his Katrina movie.
Do the creators of every OTHER show that is produced undergo a background check for "institutional left-wing ties"?
It's not whether the facts of The Path to 9/11 are correct, it's the seriousness of the charge.

Like such blame would be difficult to place. He was President during the growth of Al Qaeda, he did fail to respond appropriately to attacks on the world trade center, the USS Cole, the US Embassies, etc, etc, etc. Those are facts which exist independently of the "Path to 9-11".
The whole article is obviously damage control spin, nothing more. It even uses the old standby "un named sources". It will be interesting to see what the named sources, such as the producer, the director, and the head of Disney, have to say.

There were those on radio and TV over the last few days who were there during the 90's...and said the series was right on the money. Anyone who watched was rivited...it was hard hitting, well done, and uninterrupted which made it work....well done ABC..well done. You pleasently surprised us all.
Anytime we see liberals shown in a bad light in any type of entertainment format it's stunning because it's so rare.
