Tell me why the right wing would want to glorify Clark?

Or portray Cheney as a bumbling old know nothing? Or the brilliant Condi as needing Clarke to tell her what she should do?

This is clearly not a 'right wing' production.............just an attempt at honesty, which makes the clinton administration look like it really was........inept, incompetant and irresponsible.

The howls coming from the left are amusing. I hope they keep this up.

I don't agree that Cheney was portrayed as bumbling just old. He knew exactly what was going on. Whereas almost all other characters were played by actors better looking than they are in real life Condi was uglier than in real life. The movie implied that Clarke was the Crisis Manager not that Condi did not know what to do. That appears to be true since Clarke actually was in charge of many aspects on that day and the days to follow. For example, it was he who made arrangements for Bin Laden's family to fly out of the US.

Condi was not treated that badly in terms of her actions or character and was not shown to be unaware of or unconcerned with al Queda. Her decision to change Clarke's position happened and is probably the reason he turned on the Bush administration not having been rewarded as he believed he deserved.
