Hi All-

We're in agreement. What if a young woman picked-up an underage guy in a bar for a one-night-stand? Most people would figure people in a bar are at least eighteen years of age and likely twenty-one or older. The statutory rape seems a bit harsh in view of the circumstances.

IANAL, but I suspect that having sex with an underage girl is illegal, regardless of any other circumstance. How old he thought she was doesn't matter.
