"The Republican message for this fall’s election season turns Franklin Roosevelt’s famous statement on its head: fear is good, or at least it’s a strategy. They want the electorate to be afraid, very afraid — of the terrorists..."

The libs get pissed if Rummy or W report progress, and they get pissed when W reminds us that the WoT will never totally end.

Ant I get pissed listening to these Hate America First crowd spew lies and inuendo.

Democratic operatives have been warning Pelosi for months that she needs to prepare for what Rove and the GOP have in store: an all out, coast-to-coast assault.

As the Democratic leader in line to be speaker if her party wins control of the House, Republicans see Pelosi as the piñata of politics in 2006.

Hmmmm....an all out, coast-to-coast assault...the piñata of politics. Sounds exactly what the Dems have done against Bush over the past five years. What a hypocrite Fineman is.

Why not? She is a nightmare. She's a dangerously stupid and deluded woman.

So far, it seems the dem strategy for the mid term is:

1) Get Republicans to stop talking about terrorism as a national security and thus legitimate midterm election issue.

2) Get Republicans to quit pointing out the weaknesses in the Democratic leadership.

Fineman is a PIMP for the DNC. I would not be surprised to find out he was getting paid under the table. What a squirrel.

What else can they hit. They have hit the Iraq=Vietnam thing about as hard as they can. Gas prices are dropping which will soon have an impact on how voters feel about hte economy. The dems are on the wrong side of the issues when it comes to the WOT. Thus, Fineman and MSNBC have to cry "NO FAIR!!!!"

This pre-emptive dem-op strategy to try to obscure the fact that Nancy Pelosi is indeed dangerous for America. Lord help us if she's able to dismantle what few defenses we have left.

It points to the DNC strategy.

BE EMOTIONAL. Fight with FEELINGS OF ANGER.
AAAHAAHAHAHAHAHGGRRAAAAG!!!!!!!!!

They are trying to make Rove the pinata. Ironic because it leaves Pres. Bush to be presidential.

While Nancy looks for pinatas, perhaps along the border, GWBush can put pressure to ask if they walk the walk AND talk the talk.

Democrats and the MSM love to project. Of course we know that the "pinata" strategy was one of their favorite. Look what they did with Newt Gingrich, DeLay, and Dick Cheney, George Bush, and Rumsfeld! The GOP hasn't been nearly as consistently mean to Pelosi. They should.

what scares me silly is that so many people *AREN'T* scared silly what will happen if the Demonicrats in general take one or both houses of Congress, or if in particular the San Francisco commie Pelosi becomes speaker of the House...

I'll expand on that thought, you beat on a pinata to get the goodies. You beat on Pelosi to get her to spew crap. there are no goodies.
