Yet this warming trend has not yet reached the levels of the early Medieval Period from the 5th to 12th Centuries, when Palm trees grew in Southern England, and Greenland supported wheat cultivation. Other than a solar cause for this period of warming, what man-made global warming theory explains this?

Your first point is disputable, but it's also a strawman. The concern at present is the effects of increasing atmospheric CO2 concentrations. It seems fairly clear that there was a Medieval Warm Period (warmest 1000-1300) and a Little Ice Age (coldest 1600-1750, still cold through the mid-1800s), and then a warming. The warming since the turn of the century has been augmented by increasing greenhouse gas concentrations, most notably since the mid-1970s. The trend is the main concern, not the absolute value.

This article simply documents a dying hoax,

You are incorrect. Global warming is not a hoax. The scientific data is clear that warming is occurring, and the likeliest cause, as the article states, is anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions. As for the political and socioeconomic ramifications, those are somewhat dependent on the course of future warming, which is uncertain.

Since man is millions of years old, and has survived the "real deal," how is your claim of unreasonable recent human intrusion- valid?

The most recent episode of global warming started some 15,000 years go, spelling the beginning of the end of the last glacial period. (The next one may be along any day now.)

Sea levels have risen some 400-430 feet since then, with most of the increases prior to 5,000 years ago.

The straw man you mentioned makes his appearance again I see. Whether change is occurring is immaterial, since the climate is always changing, either warmer of cooler. There is no "Normal" unless you want to cast a very broad statistical net and decide upon a temperature range.

That a few one hundredths of a percent in trace amounts of Carbon Dioxide in the atmosphere is the sole culprit in what is being overblown as the virtual end of civilization, is the hoax. Those who feel that they can bully the rest of the scientific community by dismissing evidence contrary to their very shaky supposition are most upset by rational debate and the use of real scientific method, as opposed to computerized soothsaying using dubious computer models alone.

When and if a scientific experiment, with controls, can be demonstrated that shows CO2 "concentrations" actually initiate the speculated on heat convection cycles that magnify the effect of clouds, humidity and the far more common greenhouse gas water vapor, and then somehow these conditions can be attributed to human activity, then that straw man can climb back in off of that very long limb he has shimmied out on.
