Epitome of stupidity and gutlessness. We let 190 murderers live so they can live another day to shoot our guys?!
We were not targeting cemetaries, the enemy just happened to be in a cemetary.
America is not fighting a war. We're JO'n the PC crowd while our guys get shot at by the enemy that could have been taken out with the press of a button.
Hey general!

Yes. Quite, quite the civilized little altercation, here. Lets have Johnny Turk around for some tea, and see if we can't solve the bloody Wog problem. White mans burden and all....

I don't want Rumsfeld fired I want the President to tell Rumsfeld that he would pardon anyone engaged with the enemy that is accused of wrongdoing while doing it no matter how ugly the incident is made out by the terrorist, rats or MSM.

I think that it's been pretty obvious for quite some time that the answer is NO.

Not a way to win a war. Get 'em when you see 'em.They expect us to attack if we can. This rule gives them a gift they don't even expect. The West needs to wage this war with ruthless determination. Else, we can lose this war, the european way, one simpering concession at a time, while our military is stifled by lawyers and State Department jerks, until anything but Sharia law is a hate crime.

Gawd Almighty. What a wasted opportunity for the sake of moral equivocation. Those Klingons would kill babies in their cribs if given the chance and we offer them a timeout in the corner of the school room. And what a no-fuss, all-in-one way to dispose of them, to boot. They're already in the boneyard - just make a hole and blow 'em into it.

So now the enemy knows they can hold all their high-level meetings and plan attacks in cemetaries, with no worries about being hit by the US.

NBC News claimed U.S. Army officers wanted to attack the ceremony with missiles carried by an unmanned Predator drone but were prevented under rules of battlefield engagement that bar attacks on cemeteries. Is NBC making this up, or are there actual written rules about this?

If the drone was in the area and, I believe it was, why didn't they fire its missile after the funeral?
This is what we get when people who have never served in the military make the rules for engagement.

The article said -- "The U.S. military acknowledged Wednesday that it considered bombing a group of more than 100 Taliban insurgents in southern Afghanistan but decided not to after determining they were on the grounds of a cemetery."
Man..., we could have killed and buried them at the same time. Some people just don't know how to fight a war.

On the front line we expect combat troops to make sacrifices for the cause. Some REMF obviously put their career above the objectives of winning the war. Any deaths or injuries committed by the funeral attendees in on the hands of those who did not sieze the moment.

Makes you wonder how many good Marines or soldiers will get killed by this vermin because someone didn't take the shot.
