Well, I can't speak for the Pope, but I know that I'll replace the grudge in my heart with respect for Moslems when they stop desiring to cut my head off or blow me up for refusing to convert to their religion!

Don't you just love the comparison!
They want all other religions destroyed, the Pope himself converted or dead, but THEY want an apology!
So far Benedict is showing gumption.
I hope it continues- we don't need backtracking and 'clarification' that amounts to PC diplomacy.
