Not that I've read. I think Syria's credibility is such that Americans are united in our distrust and dislike of them, to be honest.
Like the Saudis they don't take "inconvenient" prisoners.

I'm really tired of this pseudo-journalism of "some guy whispers an anonymous tip so I'll report it as news." I don't like it when some dweeb decides to "report" his fever dreams about the Bush administration as an "anonymous source" and it doesn't carry any additional weight when the supposed leak is Syrian.
Syria can go to h--- but dammit, it's time reporters either dug up some actual facts to report or learned to STFU.
