I'm very selective on askin people to FReep polls..this one seems worthwhile..
President Bush wants Congress to permit what he calls "alternative interrogation practices" -- and what critics call abuse, possibly even torture -- for terror suspects held by the CIA. Your opinion?
1) Bush is wrong. America should not abuse or torture prisoners, no matter who they are. (45%)
2) Bush is right. Strong measures are need to combat terrorism and detect future attacks. (51.2%)

What really burns me about these "polls" is that the questions are a conclusion.

Total BS. They are saying that Bush wants to torture prisoners. That's never been said or been the case. This crap is no better than an online push-poll.

Done--bet the numbers in favor of sanity would be much higher if the responders didn't have to agree with President Bush, which is pretty pathetic.
