Around here, the lowest prices for food are found at WinCo. Prices are about 25% cheaper than WM. WinCo is 100% employee owned. The best prices for drugs and general sundries are offered by Bi-Mart (another employee owned store). CostCo and WM are about the same price. Target stores in Oregon are much cleaner and offer a better shopping experience than WM.

WinCo 25% cheaper than WM? They'll be bankrupt soon. That's impossible. There is a razor-thin profit margin on groceries.
Are you sure you don't mean that, for instance a house brand can of vegetables is 25% cheaper than a name brand at WM?
I enjoy reading your housing bubble threads, but now you've cast a lot of doubt on their veracity.
Respectfully yours,
Frank

What is true in Oregon may not be true elsewhere. The Target where I used to live in Delaware was a dirty store, and the employees were the nastiest people I had encountered in a long time.......and the manager of it had been fired from WalMart.
