You assume they read. They "heard" a soundbite and reacted in the usual manner. "Context" is hardly a concept with which they are familiar. "Introspection" is as alien in their world as "jihad" is in ours. We're not going to be able to reason with ignorance. They can't compete so they must slaughter.

Menonnites, Quakers, Jehovah Witness, and the New Thinkers are
pacifists. As are a ___SOME___ United Methodists and Presbyterians (PCUSA) we know. As for Episcopalians...remember who was just in the pulpit of the National Cathedral and you get the picture.
Anyway don't count on any of the above if it comes to a fight.

A typical newsbite: some moslem says he is offended by the Pope's remarks.
No mention of what the Pope actually said or the circumstances. The Pope was not making remarks; the Pope does not make remarks.

I am sure the terrorist Islamofascists would find out very quickly that there are even 'non violent' Christians that would suddenly do anything for Christ. Push Christian to the brink and the world will see they have awakened not just a sleeping giant, but his whole army.

AN Iraqi armed group has threatened to carry out attacks against Rome and the Vatican in retaliation for Pope Benedict XVI's remarks on Islam, according to a statement posted on the internet today. "We swear that we will destroy their cross in the heart of Rome ... and that their Vatican will be hit and wept over by the Pope," said Jaish al-Mujahideen (the Mujahideen's Army) in the statement, whose authenticity could not be confirmed. You know, if this keeps up, I might just start doubting that Islam is a Religion of PeaceTM.

Just reported that some middle eastern countries have recalled their ambassadors.
Looks like the lines have been drawn.

They will find it not such an easy task to kill the Pope. Catholics will defend the faith and the Pope. We will not engage in mass killing of Muslims for idiotic speech but neither will we shirk the responsibility to protect the innocent from the whackjobs. As Aquinas said, it is a grave sin to stand by while the innocent are murdered and killing those that would do such things is not only not a sin it is a requirement. Paraphrased of course.

with every apology and capitulation, these bastards get stronger and more bold. Every apology and capituation is seen as evidence of weakness. Only a crushing blow by the West will put an end to this madness. Iran would be a good place to send the message.

The islamists don't want anything but war. They wouldn't be well advised if they want to antagonize the Church. That would be a poor move.

A little less talk and a lot more action fellas. All of these threats and little or no action is simply boring. The catholics won't do anything about it anyway. What are you waiting for?

Even Hitler and Mussolini knew that. Pope Pius XII wrote some really strong stuff against them and hid Jews in Italy and really frustrated them.

Should His Holiness be harmed, the world just may see how many uncounted divisions the Pope truly commands. This particular Jew would enlist.
Islam is a pathological disorder masquerading as a religion.
In fact, time for a new tagline.

The Anglicans might put up with that, the Orthodox won't. The Serbs were well on the way to routing the Islamists from Kosovo until x42 needed a largescale distraction.

Come on Pope B, let's do the Islamic macaca grovel!! Oh, do you mean like when Bush said (paraphrased) "We said things like, 'Osama Bin Laden, wanted dead or alive.' Some people may have taken that the wrong way."?
You obviously ignorant about the nature of Pope Benedict XVI.
He is not a politician.

I'll repeat what I posted elsewhere:
If Islam and Mohammedanism cannot act reasonably, how can they dialogue their culture and religion with other religions? And as we see, with the assistance of the MSM, Mohammedans are willing to behead and kill those who would say that their religion is violent.
Does the word "reasonability" have no Arabic translation? Apparently so.
