After the London bombings and the French riots, the commentariat lined up to regret that European Muslims are insufficiently assimilated. But, in fact, at least in their mastery of legalisms and victimology, theyre superbly assimilated. They did manage to chase her out of Europe. Europe's loss. RIP, Oriana.

She was a great warrior who took the fight to the IslamiNazi enemy. She stood up to the "politically correct" commiessars of the Left and their IslamiNazi allies. We need more warriors like her if we are to win this war.

Wow, a Steyn/Fallaci combination. Great post.

In other words, if you threaten to kill people often enough, it will be seen as part of your vibrant cultural tradition and, by definition, were all cool with that. Celebrate diversity, etc. Our tolerant multicultural society is so tolerant and multicultural well tolerate your intolerant uniculturalism. Your antipathy to diversity is just another form of diversity for us to celebrate.
BINGO! This one is going out to the email list.

I feel as if this article ended abruptly. Perhaps I just never get enough of Steyn.

This dear woman had more courage and fortitude than ALL of the men of the Democrat party. She will be missed.

Because it was the Muslims of the Crusades the first ones to sing of love and courtliness am chivalry, professor Mardin explains. Uh huh. I suppose they sang this while shagging sheep?

I enjoy the dont-eat-your-sexual-partner stuff as much as the next infidel, but the challenge presented by Islam is not that the cities of the western world will be filling up with sheep-shaggers. If I had to choose, Id rather Mohammed Atta was down river in Egypt hitting on the livestock than flying through the window of Manhattan skyscrapers. Genuis, Steyn, genius.

You're right - it did! That control character messed up my cut-and-paste. here's the last bit:
Letter to professor Schulze:
Dear Sir, shut up your big mouth and leave certain theories to your compatriot Sigrid Hunke. We know perfectly well that in Islams historic past there have been a few intelligent, exceptional men, Intelligence doesnt know borders, it always manages to penetrate the wall of constitutionalized idiocy...)

Absolutely. In fact they gave us a host of pop hits which were, unfortunately, mistranslated: "Ewe, Ewe, Ewe", "Ewe Send Me", I'll Never Find Another Ewe", "Ram A Lamb a Ding Dong"

Farewell, you now belong to history. Your name will be listed with those who worked to make life better for all humanity. You knew that the greater struggle is still in front of us and that too many people won't realize it until it is too late.
