A culture with no sense of irony. Like another poster, I can't figure out if they are all insane, sociopaths, possessed, stupid or what. Or perhaps it is a culture of short men who spend too much time in the hot sun without cold beer and beautiful women in skimpy bathing suits.

Bolsheviks have decided problem with religious fanaticism - they simply exterminated incorrigible carriers of mental decease, and forced on all atheism. Very barbarian method, but effective. Do not know, if there exist another means.
I have some Tatar friends and colleagues, they are quite usual people, see no difference between us. Some of them regard Islam fanaticism as very dangerous.
After fall of USSR big troubles started on religious and national ground.
