In defense of radical Christianity [Why Rosie is wrong]

In a bizarre turn towards the strange, Rosie O'Donnell and violent Islamic Clerics across the world bound themselves together this week in a bit of ideology that not only defied common sense, but also is insanely wrong.

Muslims are brainwashed by their spiritual leaders in countries where free and independent education is unavailable - to a certain extent this explains how easily they can be whipped into a frothy frenzy over the Pope quoting from an historical debate. But what's Rosie's excuse?

On Wednesday the big-mouthed-wonder uttered, "And as a result of the (9-11) attack and the killing of 3000 innocent people, we invaded two countries and killed innocent people."

She went on to add, "Radical Christianity is just as threatening as radical Islam in a country like America where we have separation of church and state."

The profound ignorance of the statements not only reveals Rosie's absolute incapacity to comprehend the serious matter of the war on terror, but more importantly, the eternal issue of her soul.

In comparing the harshest moments of the historical crusades, Rosie's point would have still been amiss, but notice she specified the type of Christianity she considers dangerous, the kind of Christianity that we have in America.

Pardon me for brushing aside a lot of speculation and get straight to the issue, Rosie hates evangelicals. The kinds of Christians that scare her most are the radical ones. Roughly translated that means - the ones who actually live by what they believe.

Herein is part of the difference between the ignorant Muslim-rent-a-mobs that objected to the Pope and O'Donnell. Muslims lie about what they believe. But if you look carefully enough - or just ask any Islamic scholar who will tell you the truth - the Koran advocates the killing of the infidels. And in Islam's case - that includes anyone who doesn't convert to Islam.

Rosie refuses to recognize that Muslims, whose doctrine calls for them to kill us, are attempting to do just that, while at the same time evangelical Christians share a theology that speaks to the need for grace to those who are in danger, and mercy for those who repent. There are thousands of Christian pastors who, even this day, are prepared to launch their congregations into tremendous acts of compassion for those needing emergency help and care. Juan Williams, an NPR liberal, detailed as much to me this week as well as in his new book Enough, in the immediate aftermath of Katrina.

But putting the easy comparisons aside, Rosie's statement says much more about her own belief system.

It tells us for example that she doesn't have a relationship with God. She has no discernment between the exclusive claims of the God of the Bible and Allah of the Koran. More importantly she doesn't care to have one, so anything that God may have to say about her life, how she should live, and what is best for her, becomes increasingly irrelevant.

It also tells us that she knows nothing of history or the formation of Islam itself. The fact that Mohammed was a jealous soul who sought to have a larger following than some of his contemporaries who spoke of Jesus is important in its context. The fact that Mohammed had to, in essence, create his own God to compete with the "God of the book" and the "people of the book," demonstrates the man-made-ness of Islam as opposed to the claims of divine origin for Jews and Christians. But this too is lost on Rosie.

Finally Rosie’s statement also reveals a deep seated anger against a group of people that believe in moral absolutes. The idea of an objective source by which we can understand the difference in right and wrong is a concept that people like Rosie run from. It scares them, and the only way they can respond is in emotional anger to the reality that they can not change.

In the world Rosie would like to live in, she wishes there would be no evil. In acknowledging that there is as much, she is also admitting to a greater moral structure that she must measure herself by each day, and in that she falls short - as do we all.

Rosie lives the way mankind always has when they reject God. They convince themselves that if no one gets hurt by what they do - then there is no such thing as right or wrong. So secrets are made, deeds are engaged in, and illicit sin holds a sway over their lives to the point where boldness begins to be craved.

Convinced over a long enough period of time that the deeds they know to be wrong will not harm them, they wish to force the rest of society to agree with them. The most important object in their way becomes the voices of those who would remind them that what they are doing is not good for them. And their most important goal becomes to equivocate or eliminate those voices.

Rosie is angry with radical Christians, because radical Christians know a peace and resolve about their life that she has yet to find. She believes "radical Christianity" is dangerous because she views it as something that will limit her ability to do what she wishes.

What she doesn't understand is the incredible freedom she would find in embracing it.

Rosie demonstrates what many (not all) lesbians and homosexuals feel toward Christianity. On the one hand, it is despicable to see, but on the other hand, it is good that people see their true views toward us. We need more people to become aware that there is a cultural war going on. And many Christians must wake up to the fact that many of their kids are being brainwashed with this stuff, and that the Dem legislators want to force even more of these peoples' ideas upon our kids.

If Rosie moved to an Islamic country she and her lesbian lover(oh, EXCUSE ME, partner) would be fried on a skewer, after being publicly beaten and probably raped.

The events of the past week prove her statements irrefutably wrong. While she calls Christians terrorists not one of them marched out into the streets and burned mosques. But when the pope says that in the middle ages someone said Mohammed brought nothing good only evil(he was right mind you) all the muslims go crazy with violence.

I suspect this is more likely.
Rosie would very likely be in danger of taking some turns on
the spit as she probably has an even better fat content than
then usual "fattened calf".

Her much nicer looking "whatever" probably would end up passed around
amongst the Jihadis as a party favor even if she's an infidel.
You know...sort of like in "Midnight Express"...lot of hypocrisy about
S-e-x there.
They say they'd never boink an infidel chick...but the first chance
they get, they'll hit it.

Rosie in a burka. She would look like Shamu, minus the white areas.

In an article dosted on this website within the past to weeks an ex-feminist passionettely agrued and backed up ther statements that feminism has dectroyed all of western society and europe and pave the way for the Muslim overthrow of them.

In the article she cites feminists openly supports radical muslims in western coutries and their publicly defend their acts of violence and rape.

An that in large part they have an abject hatred towards biblical christianity (I say that because many homosexaulas and lesbians do attend nominal churches -- including methodist churches, presbyterian churchs, and increasingly liberal baptist churches.[we had a large article on FR two months ago of a huge baptist demonination splitting 50-50 half were gay or gay leaning [with openly gay ministers or gay leaning ministers]and half were not.)

According to the article from this ex-feminist -- radical feminism in the past 5 or so years has made a decission to support Islam -- radical islam over bible beleiving chirstainity and western society as a whole.

Who in there rightmind listens to Mr. O'Donnel? She ahs proven not only to lack character, but also a stunning lack of intelligence.

Ignorance and cowardice do not a spokesperson make.

I assume that Rosie was abused as a child, probably sexually.

That is the root of her bitterness, her lifestyle and her twisted reality.

We know what the truth is in so many ways she does not.

I assume that Rosie was abused as a child, probably sexually. That is the root of her bitterness, her lifestyle and her twisted reality.

I have read about and known gay adults who have been molested and abused as children and have felt strongly that this abuse may have contributed to their move toward being gay. Yet, I feel it is a huge leap to assume this about many others. Sometimes it is evil influences or lack of true Godly one's. Sometimes people just go that way--I do not know why. This could be debated on a whole other thread.

However in this case, I believe that childhood abuse gives Rosie a pass on her HUGE narcissism, ego and evil nature. Can her heart be changed? Sure, many can. But in the interim, she is a huge-literally, hateful dyke that has not an ounce of grace or class and certainly not even a smattering of intelligence. But boy does she have a big a--mouth and an annoying one at that. Poor child that she and her lover have.

We know what the truth is in so many ways she does not.

Yes. It is sad that she is either so blind to it or scared of it. I supposed I should pray for her heart to be filled with Christ's love. I would rather see a convert in her then allow my disgust for her to get in the way of God entering into her heart and soul. May Rosie feel Christ's love in her heart and be protected from the Devil that rules her soul.

I hurts me to pray for her, but I must, if for no other reason then to save my own soul from so much hate that I feel so strongly against these evil people that attack my God. I will not let that hate separate me from Christ though. That would be truly giving them too much power.
