I guess after ingesting so many drugs for so many years, it would tend to cloud ones judgement and good sense....

Robin Williams hasn't been funny since 1996....

Who finds him funny anymore? I had the unfortunate displeasure of watching RV. It was embarassingly awful. What happens to comics, or most rock musicians that makes them hit middle age and just become dreadful? There are exceptions to the rule, but Robin Williams isn't one of them.

Comics like Red Skelton, George Burns, Jackie Gleason. Bob Hope. They dont make em like that anymore. Funny right up to the day they died.

Robin Williams, Jim Carrey,Jonathan Winters, others like them, Their Schtick gets old after a while. Its the same old ,same old.

I wouldn't include Jonathan Winters in that second category -- I'd put him in with the legends. Also add Jack Benny, Phil Silvers, maybe Groucho and I'm sure there are a few others that should be nominated to "legends".

I agree too many comedians don't know what it means to be funny anymore. Most think punctuating sentences with curse words is comedy. Give me Rodney Dangerfield any day.

Saw the trailer for this movie last night and immediately recognized it as a steaming pile of liberal sh*t. Gee, I wonder why they made a movie like this for release in an election year? Hollywood cannot adjust to the fact that they are not relavent. The best political movie made in the last 30 years was "Forest Gump". Too bad the movie does not endorse Dem values, but rather indicts them. I can still watch Gump and be moved after seeing it six or seven times. This is the definition of a great movie.

Cosby is staying funny as time goes by. Milton Berle did not. Richard Pryor, I don't think he did. George Carlin isn't funny anymore, though I must admit the last time I saw him on The Tonight Show w/Jay Leno and Ann Coulter he did have a funny routine.

Don't forget Bob Newhart. His driving lesson routine is a classic!

Did you ever see David Steinberg's "psychoanalyst" routine with the "bugga-bugga!" line? Dates back to 1970 but a classic.

I never liked bob newhart and never thought he was funny. OK, we played the "Bob" drinking game, but that's the only way to make the show palatable to me.

They ran the trailer for this turkey at a showing of "The Black Dahlia" that I attended over the weekend. I live in a very "blue" state (MD); there were NO laughs whatsoever, even though the trailer clearly used what the movie's producers thought were the "A" laugh scenes. I anticipate a bomb so big the UN will think we've resumed atmospheric testing.

Is Robin Williams out of rehab yet? He went in August 2006. He has admitted to abusing alcohol and cocaine.

Williams is a puke. He made fun of Rush and Mel both with dependency problems and when he went back to rehab it's the Williams family would like you to respect their privacy! What a unfunny hypocrit! And I agree he hasn't been funny since he was on drugs!
