I've always wondered why ahmad Yassin, the guy that mixed the chemicals for the first WTC bombing, flew to Baghdad right after the al-qaeda attack. As Rush said the other day, no one got into or out of Baghdad without Saddam's approval.

Yup, and he was given a home in Tikrit, Saddam's hometown, and a monthly check by Saddam's government. If that's not an act of war, I don't know what is.

Exactly.

I have also thought it curious (not to mention negligent)why the 9-11 (C)Ommission only went back to 1996.

Could it be they didn't want even a sniff of Iraqi/al Queada connections? Naaahhh, couldn't be that. They were really, really trying to get a total and truthful picture leading to 9-11. (I almost choked as I typed that.)

From my files:

Ramzi Yousef (1993 WTC) and Terry Nichols (OKC)crossed paths in the Phillipines. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed (9/11) was Yousef's uncle. It is interesting to note that Yousef entered the United States on an Iraqi passport and had been known among the New York fundamentalists as "Rashid, the Iraqi". Another name that could be thrown into the mix is Abdul Rahman Yasin, a U.S. citizen who moved to Iraq in the 1960's and returned to the U.S. in 1992. After the 1993 WTC bombing, Yasin fled to Iraq and was given monthly salary and housing by Saddam Hussein's regime.
