Guess what? They don't stop as soon as they cross the border! We have zillions of Mexicans in Detroit and have had for over a hundred years.
They came originally to work in the cigar factories (many people don't know that Detroit was the major cigar producing city a hundred years ago), then in the stove factories (Detroit was the world's largest producer of stoves for many years) and finally they came up to work in the auto plants as well as the farms. Michigan is a huge agricultural state.
We have had Mexicans for years - the influx of illegals started 10 years ago - we are now swimming in them.
Addison loves Laura Miller. :)
Think its bad now? Just wait until the "Superhighway" is complete in Texas.
I agree 100%. The City Council, instead of being concerned about the city as a whole, is concerned only with their voting block and does Dallas have them.
New York, Shmoo York. Their salsa is still terrible. :D
It's not like the FBI is taking crime reports themselves. They only report on what the cities claim.
The Liberals that run those cities should admit defeat and their mistakes and re-deploy to Greenland.

Goin' back to Dallas, take my razor and my gun
Goin' back to Dallas, man, take my razor and my gun, oh yeah
Lots of people lookin' for trouble, man, sure gonna give 'em in some
I believe old Dallas, man, is the meanest town I know
I believe that Dallas, man, is the meanest town I know
Because you're not safe in Dallas, I don't care where you go
You know that I'm evil, just wanna have some fun
There's so much shit in Texas, I'm bound to step in some
Goin' back to Dallas, take my razor and my gun
If there are people lookin' for trouble, sure gonna give 'em some
I load up my revolver, sharpen up my knife
Some redneck messin' with me man, I'm bound to have his life
Down to Dallas, take my razor and my gun
Man, people there lookin' for trouble, sure gonna give 'em some
Dallas has nothing on "Southwest" Houston, block by block the most dangerous area of any city in the world...
I'll see your "Southwest" Houston and raise you a "Fairpark" section of Dallas.
Yep, that is the common thread of these high crime cities:
7. Houston: one crime per 14.17 residents.
8. San Antonio: one crime per 14.12 residents.
9. Phoenix: one crime per 14.10 residents.
10. Dallas: one crime per 11.79 residents.
High numbers of illegal immigrants and New Orleans evacuees.
Crimes of what kind however. If Dallas is rife with jaywalkers who cares?
Pleasant Grove isn't very "pleasant" either.....
Oh, that's just a misspelling-- it's actually Pleasant Grave.
Ah! A perfect time to quote one of my favorite people, Mr. Samuel Langhorne Clemens , AKA Mark Twain:
There are lies, damn lies and statistics.Old Sam knew from which he was speaking. Still true today.
There was an article a few weeks ago in the Dallas Morning News that suggested that differing reporting standards were responsible for some of the crime numbers.
Where is New Orleans?
Not true. Crime in Chicago is concentrated in a few areas. My neighborhood is likely safer than yours.
In the southern part of Louisiana, along the Gulf Coast.
Those cities have AT LEAST 5,000 deaths a year from murderers.
