I used to buy phone cards at a 711 a long time ago. They were a pretty good deal for state to state calls. But they aren't the only game in town.
The closets 711 to me is on the other side of town from me. I've been by there and it is so filthy outside that I can't imagine going inside. Also many lowlife types hanging around. My ex almost got mugged at a 711 in Cal 5 years ago. Just bad places in my book.
