I saw/heard the president’s address to the U.N. on C-Span this morning. I also heard the speeches of Secretary General Annan, the President of the General Assembly (Al Khalifa), and the President of Brazil (Da Silva), all of whom preceded Bush. It's not surprising that a Muslim is now the President of the General Assembly, since the U.N. is now entirely controlled by the Organization of the Islamic Conference. The author was referring to Al Khalifa, the President of the General Assembly.
