You would think this kind of lunacy would bring the American people together and demonstrate what a great and free country we are. You would think Americans would be repulsed by this attack on our president. Instead I'm sure there are plenty of soft headed dolts out there who will think we should be embarrassed because Bush brought scorn on our country. We have offended other countries. Boo hoo!

I don't want to hear a peep from the Left over the outrageous comments made by Chavez. That these people can even ask why America is hated, as Chavez endorses a book by Noam Chomsky is evidence enough as to why the world is filled with anti-Americanism. From liberal professors in academia to Democrat politicians to Hollywood and the media, these people have ingrained a hatred in the mind of others for this country that goes well beyond Bush, the Iraq War and this administration.

These people have been building this resentment for decades...even during the Cold War, when the Soviets infiltrated our civil rights movement and used the useful idiots to sow dissent among the races. In the last couple years alone, both the media and leaders within the Democrat Party have given our craven enemies the very excuses and reasons to hate us...even more. From Dick Durbin accusing US troops at Gitmo of committing atrocities to John Kerry claiming US soldiers were terrorizing innocent Iraqis, these leading Democrats only continue to feed this hatred.

From 50+ front page news stories by the NY Times on Abu Ghraib, to Newsweek's article about US soldiers flusing a koran down a toilet, the liberal media has willingly become an instigator for this hatred. This same media that chastises the US government for daring to display photos of Saddam's two dead sons...and ANY captured prisoners (sighting Geneva Accords) had no problem demanding that even more photos of Abu Ghraib be released, almost a year after the event, just so they could further inflame Muslim emotions.

Whether it's the vitriolic rhetoric of accusing Bush of being a liar or the deliberate misrepresentations made by liberal film makers such as Michael Moore, the bombardment of hatred towards this country--by people in this country, is inescapable. Even before these events, people from around the world could pick up any Hollywood movie and see how we assassinate our own leaders...or hear how many honorable soldiers who served in Vietnam were nothing more than baby-killers and savages.

That these people have the nerve to even pose the question of why we are hated, without addressing their own contribution to this discourse is disgusting; worse...it is becoming increasingly deadly. These people haven't just enabled our enemies, they've emboldened them; they are giving Muslims around the world the very excuses and reasons to hate us, and thus, attack us. By their actions, they have endangered every one of us and our families. If there is another attack on our soil, we can thank American liberals like Noam Chomsky, who've contributed to the same hatred they supposedly despise.
