Louisiana PGR,
We urgently need your help!!
Sgt. Dustin Decol, an Army soldier who returned home from the war in Iraq only to learn he had terminal cancer, died Tuesday evening surrounded by family at his home in Houma.
This young 21 year old Louisiana Hero is now gone but leaves a wonderful family and a young wife pregnant with their daughter. Let's make them proud of his life, service, and sacrifice.
Memorial will be Saturday, Sept. 23rd at 1:00 at the American Legion Post near the National Guard Armory at the corner of Williams and Legion in Houma, Louisiana.
A departure from Baton Rouge for those near here is planned for Saturday morning.
We need as many flags and individuals to hold those flags. Bring your family, bring your flags.
Please do your best to attend this memorial.
I am unable to post graphics on this library computer, but there is a photo of beautiful Dustin in the following link:

Prayers up for this family and all those bereaved of heroes.
Psalm 91:1-2
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD,
"He is my refuge and my fortress...
I was out of town when this ping came thru. I would be honored to help with the virtual baby shower if you'll forward details. Praying for the family.

Coop, this is Dan Decol, My son Sgt. Dustin Decol who you met at WRAMC, passed away at our home on Sept. 19th, 2006 at 12:45 pm. The cancer came back with a vengeance, and by Sept 4th, they told us he only had days left. After the storm blew over up there , They were able to fly Dustin out at Andrews and he held on and fought till the end. He was such a strong young man, I only wish all could have known the son I cherished. He will be missed by many, and his unborn daughter will be an extremely spoiled young lady. I can't wait, and that is what drives us every single day. Thanks to all @ FR for the prayers and support.
Dan Decol
